Emancipation - WEN PULIN - Archive of Chinese Avant-Garde Art 80s

“Emancipation” is a concentration of “WEN PULIN-Archive of Chinese Avant-Garde Art” regarding the history of 1980s. The archive has concentratedly demonstrated, by means of pictures and videos, all art behaviors concerning the Earthquake since 1980s, which was initiated and recorded by Mr. Wen Pulin, one of the earliest practitioners for Chinese avant-garde art, and “The Last Supper”--a behavior art organized and executed by Li Shan and Sun Liang, et al from Shanghai, and at the same time reproduced in an actual way some important historical figures and cases concerning the 1989 First China Modern Art Exhibition. The full and accurate historical data and literature, abundant pictures and rare videos have indeed made the exhibition boast higher academic level and great value for collection.

Breathing Deeply - Subtle Space Built on Existence and Perception

The“Breathing Deeply”exhibition is curated by Sean C.S. Hu an invited 8 outstanding new media artists from Taiwan to display work, including Yuan Goang-ming, Chen Yung-hsien, Diing-Wuu Wu Walis, Tao Ya-lun, Wang Te-yu, Lin Chien-jung, Chen Wan-jen, and Huang Po-chih. These were instructed to address subjects ranging from discussions of the meaning of life for the individual to the relative position and existential values of people living in nature and the city, expressing experiences and considerations of the essential nature of existence faced by people in different situations.
