Li Yiwen, born in 1982 in Luoyang, Henan Province. He graduated from the Mural Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in 2006 and from the Mural Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree in 2011.He has won the 2006 Light of the Academy "Art Innovation" Award and Wang Jialian Oil Painting Scholarship.

Li Yiwen's artistic creation takes painting as the main medium. His painting always runs through his thoughts and interests on time, space and time. The experience in memory and the experience in the moment permeate each other and constantly accumulate to become the source of inspiration and expression. Li Yiwen often uses post-modern methods to filter, select and promote images, integrating elements of illogic, fiction, heterotopic and intuition into the picture. While subverting the previous painting narrative, Li Yiwen generates new image meanings.
