Lv Huiyao's works are conceived around the idea of multiple meanings of words, and the tension of similarities between words, images, and sounds in daily life, which at times do not find their proper counterparts. There are many gray vacuums to be explored between similar or seemingly unrelated things, and she hopes to bring people that kind of déjà vu and perceptual experience through her paintings. The things in the paintings seem to be similar but not similar, ambiguous and sharp flashes, in search of an intriguing point of flatness.
