Ma Tao liked to paint with an absurd narrative method. He gets rid of the shackles of life, and arbitrarily present a kind of things and states that do not exist on the canvas, so that there is always a sense of distance between the picture and reality. This sense of distance is even more rare in the current social environment. In the face of many problems in this objective world, people are often helpless, but Ma Tao hopes that his works can make people feel a sense of joy and warmth temporarily in the messy and cold reality. Although behind this warmth and sense of joy is actually the frustration or even escape from reality, he still hopes that the picture can always be filled with a kind of sunshine, humor and surprise. Let the audience feel a kind of interesting and warm things flowing out of it, at the same time make the audience find that in their own body and life also flow the same interesting things.
