Soka Art is proud to present Japanese rising artist Yuta Tamura’s solo exhibition from May 4th to June 8th, 2024. Characterized by a digital low-resolution style, Tamura’s creative works stemmed from his favorite childhood games and animations. The figures and objects in Tamura’s paintings are not merely game characters, but also a medium through which the artist explores the subtlety of subject-object relationships. In recent years, Tamura has also actively participated in large-scale art exhibitions both locally and abroad, receiving positive accolades around the world. This exhibition will be full of excitement, showcasing 21 artworks from Tamura’s series to the audience.

Soka Art will be hosting rising artist XX Li’s solo exhibition, Grow Like the Seasons, from March 16 to April 20, 2024. Debuting fifteen brand new creations at the exhibition, the artist has projected her reflections on the resilience of nature and life to these characters and landscapes on a macroscopic and narrative level. Other than graphic illustrations, the artist also specially created the popular sculpture Dreams and Ambitions in 60cm heights. This wondrous and adorable artwork not only contained the philosophical doctrine of art, but also redefined Li’s style of “aesthetics” as she progressed through her art journey.
